Holiday Club Sunday Celebration

Day3
Today we learnt how Daniel was put in a lion's den because he went against the law of the land by praying to God. God was with him and the lions did not harm him. This story encourages us to keep following God in all situations

Day 4
Today we learnt that the birth of Jesus was part of God's masterplan for the world. Because he lived as a human being Jesus knows just how we feel and we can talk to him about it.

Day 5
Today we heard the greatest story of all human history - the story of Easter. Jesus' death and resurrection was the climax of God's rescue plan. Let us rejoice!

Holiday Club runs for one week during the summer holidays and aims to provide a safe place for children to be entertained whilst learning about Jesus. Parents of children aged 3-11 years are able to leave their children every morning throughout the week for a reasonable cost. The children have lots of fun singing, taking part in drama and different activities (face painting, dance and
games.) It is followed up on the Sunday after the week with an all-age service to which children are encouraged to bring their parents. This requires the involvement of many, many people - leading small groups, being involved in drama presentations, providing crèche facilities, leading the music, providing refreshments and much, much more!

Day 2
Today we heard about how David, a young shepherd boy decided to trust God and went into battle against Goliath, the enemy of God' people. We too can decide to trust God in our own lives.

Day 1 Praising God for all he has made
Today we learnt that God created an amazing and perfect world
and how he has an amazing plan for it.
"God looked at waht he had done and saw that it was good."
Mankind was made in the image of God to take care of the world. However things went wrong when we went our own way and spoilt God's creation.August 21st 2009
