Alpha India. Two teams from ASE travelled to India in 2010 to run Alpha training conferences in Bihar State. Key church leaders were invited to the conferences and it is hoped they will be able to then train up further leaders and helpers in their localities. More details from Ian Walker.

The Church Mission Society is an evangelistic mission working to see a world transformed by the love of Jesus. It supports 900 missionaries around the world. Our Link Mission Partners are Gautam Money and Sabrina Money. They are working in a deprived area of Delhi. Gautam is working at St. John’s Vocational Technical Training Centre in conjunction with the Delhi Brotherhood Society. Sabrina works at the Caruna Childcare Centre. Gautam & Sabrina Money
Christian Aid is an international aid and development agency of the churches in the UK and Ireland. They work wherever the need is greatest - irrespective of religion or race. Romania & South Africa
Our young people have made regular mission trips to work with churches in deprived areas of South Africa and Romania.
The aim of the Oakes is to provide a holiday centre where 8-18 year olds can hear the Christian message, be encouraged in their faith and enjoy a great holiday There is no church contact with 86% of children and young people in Britain who know little about the Christian faith, think it is irrelevant to their lives and grow up bombarded by non-Christian teaching and values. Many of our young people have worked at the Oakes or been helped by a holiday there. Our church contact is Richard Donkin tel 266 4358

The six churches of Ecclesall have a good track record of working together. The clergy meet regularly for prayer and the churches organize a number of shared events during the year.

St Michael and All Angels, Buenos Aires, Argentina
We support St Michaels and All Angels, Buenos Aires, Argentina financially and a PCC member Roy Gascoyne regularly visits the church in Buenos Aires. (The Diocese of Sheffield is linked with the Diocese of Argentina) We have visits from members of St Michael's, and we have regular contact with the clergy there and a young cleric, Nico Holding Ohlsson and his wife spent two weeks in the parish durung 2011. Our link person, Roy Gascoyne, is a member of the Sheffield Diocesan Committee which oversees the link between the Diocese of Argentina and that of Sheffield. The Bishop of Argentina, Gregory Venables and his wife have worshipped with us and visited the Anvil service. Additionally, Roy Gascoyne is the Chairman of the Argentine Diocesan Association, a London-based charity working to support the work of the Anglican Church in Argentina.
Suitable food may be left in the cloakroom adjoining the Narthex and will be taken to the food bank. (Once a fortnight at present. April 2013)
