Praise Band
The Praise Band, which now leads worship on the fourth Sunday of the month at the 11:00 service, is a group of up to 30 musicians of all abilities. The music ranges from traditional hymns to contemporary in style. There is usually a practice one hour before the service.
All comers of a reasonable standard, say Grade2 and above, on any instrument are welcome. Individual music parts will be provided to suit your instrument and your ability. If necessary they will be specially written for you and be available for home practice about a week before the service. Currently the band includes stringed, woodwind and brass instruments with the addition of piano accordions, keyboard, guitars and a rhythm and voice section.
We are pleased to welcome another violinist in the person of Louise Chenery.
