SPUR - Our parish magazine
SPUR, All Saints Parish magazine, has been part of the church and community life for over a hundred years. In 1900, its pages were small, few in number, in black and white and with no photos, compared with the glossy, coloured front and computer typeset A4 pages of today. The magazine contains local and parish news, has about 20 challenging and thought-provoking articles and 5 pages of local advertisements.
It is issued monthly, and goes out to about 800 households, mainly in Ecclesall. There is also a postal distribution to other parts of the country and overseas. At 50p, it is very good value; a year's subscription is only £6. It is available in church and can also be delivered locally each month by one of our many distributors.
